Morrikhan I
The Burning KingThe first Skiathin king of Caeldadhn and 12th High King of all Uhldrenn, he was born a peasant during the Wars of Fire (between the Rey and the Madadh) in a small village on the foothills of the Giant's Wake called Skiathin. After his village was ransacked and burned by the army of a vassal king to the Rey, Morrikhan formed a bond with a dragon and used it to burn all but a lucky few of the army alive. After that he and his fellow survivors traveled to the capital city of Caeldadhn and spoke with the old king gaining his reluctant support. Morrikhan then turned his attention and the force of Caeldadhn's army and his dragon on the Rey who held the throne of the High King. Axlypios scribes of the time claimed that in his arrogance the Rey Emperor rode out to meet the relatively small force of Caeldadhn claiming that he did not fear dragon fire, only to realize his folly too late. The forces of the Hae Viyn, Madadh, and Velenizi descended on the Rey in the first known unified front in Uhldrenn history. After the defeat of the Rey's high king a council of all the powerful families agreed that the new high king should be Morrikhan. He did not initially want the job but took it at the advice of the Caeldadhn princess, Aithbrecc, who he soon thereafter married. He ruled over a time of relative peace for many years and eventually died of old age, living to see his great grandchildren fly on the backs of their own dragons.
Aithbrecc
The First QueenWife of Morrikhan Skiathin, some claim she ruled as Empress and Queen of Caeldadhn more than Morrikhan ever did, a statement that evidence seems to support he would've agreed with. He did nothing without her counsel and seemed to truly love her and she, him. She was the daughter and only child of King Tenga IV of Caeldadhn and she was often traveling about Caeldadhn against her father's wishes as he was very protective of her. Even as Queen alongside Morrikhan she seemed to love nothing more than to travel to anywhere and everywhere she could. Some say she was one of a very few outsiders who was ever allowed to visit Naos Daqi. She is recorded as having said that a ruler cannot be a truly rule if they do not know all of their land.
